The Wrinkled Peaches of Standlake Common - 13th Nov

Autumn Fungi of Highmoor Common Wood - 6th Oct

For the next six weeks or so they will be out in all weathers, not just when the sun shines.

They always "show well", are never "elusive" and don't fly off just before you get there.

What is there not to like?

Aston Rowant Reserve 15th August 2021. The morning began misty and overcast but brightened up by mid-morning.

The Chiltern Gentian one of our rarest
wildflowers growing in the meadow at Bald Hill (which in my case is very appropriate)
The Silver Spotted Skipper Butterfly one of our rarest
butterflies.
The beautiful Dusky Sallow Moth.
