Cothill Fen NNR 16 July: Cicadella viridis

Thanks to Jeremy Dexter and Mike Flemming for providing the ID for this tiny insect - photo below! There were plenty of them at Cothill Fen today.

There were also 3 Keeled Skimmers and c. 10 Small Red Damselflies present.

Purple Emperor butterflies have been regularly visiting the car-park area at around 11 am to noon.  This one was already on the ground when I drove in!
